Big Spring Clean
Join us for a big Spring Clean on Weardale Railway on Sunday 11th May 2025. The train will leave Bishop Auckland Station at 11.00am. Heading up to Stanhope with lots of stops along the way to collect litter.
Celebrating 200 years of Stockton and Darlington Railway we aim to collect 200 bags of litter with the help of the local community.
Anyone wishing to join us from any of the stations along the line towards Bishop Auckland please tick the box at checkout.
All equipment will be provided.
Please note the experience requires a reasonable level of fitness as you will be climbing on and off the train at some locations. Suitable clothing and footwear is also required.
