Community Big Weekend
Join us for our BIG Community Weekend celebrations on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June as we bring the curtain down on 200 years of Train travel and the visit of the Inspiration Train. We have lots going on at Stanhope over the weekend. The highlight Saturday is Stanhope Silver Band will perform from 6;00-8:30 pm and on Sunday there will be a Teddy Bears picnic from 12:00 - 2:00 pm. So come along and enjoy :-
- unlimited train rides between Stanhope and Wolsingham. Timetables are below and note there is a late train from Stanhope to Wolsingham and intermediate stations on the Saturday leaving Stanhope at 20:45 hrs at the conclusion of the Stanhope Silver Band concert.
- Visit the Inspiration train
- Craft market on Platform 2
- Platform 1 Cafe and our Pizza Van are available
- Stanhope Silver Band playing live at the station from 1800 - 2030 (ticket event)
